Film Review - Spiderman 2
First things first - I can't believe this is only a PG! Having just seen this film (and being unaware of the BBFC rating it had) I thought it had to be a 12 rating at least! There are some scenes in it (notably the bit where Doctor Octavius is in surgery) which are quite violent, certainly for young children.
However, that aside, here's the rundown on the film...
It carries on from where the original Spiderman film left off - Peter Parker is still pining after Mary Jane but with his double life as Spiderman, he feels he can't share his true feelings with her, and so has to watch from the sidelines as she gets engaged to another man. Meanwhile, his best friend Harry Osborn still can't forgive Spiderman for the death of his father (Professor Osborn, aka The Green Goblin), and to top it all, Aunt May can't afford the mortgage on her house.
With all this on his mind, he finds himself in turmoil, not knowing whether he can continue as Spiderman. However, when a terrible accident (aren't they always?) causes brilliant scientist Doctor Octavius to transform into the evil Doc Ock, only one man can save New York... Spiderman!
I enjoyed this film, but as I said earlier, I wouldn't let young children see it. Like the X-Men films, the Spiderman films have managed to stay true to there comic book roots, so if you like them, you'll love this! (And there's obviously going to be a third installment... and I'll put money on the return of a former foe!)

Webcam Update - v2!
A couple of people have said that they can't see the webcam because they can't get Java to run on their machines.
I've now added an ftp version of the webcam, which you can see by clicking the link at the bottom of the webcam page - hopefully this should work for those that were experiencing problems!

Webcam update...
You may (or may not, depending on your point of view!) be pleased to know that the Way Family Webcam is now up and running!
After much head scratching and changing of drivers, cameras, etc, I found the source of the problem - someone (okay, me!) had accidentally deleted the javascript code from the page... 8)
Life's a Beach!
It was the works barbecue at Sandbanks this evening - the three directors cooked the food and the rest of the staff (plus friends & family) turned up and ate it!
It's been overcast all day and it's been raining on and off, so we were a little worried that it was going to be a bit of a washout, but fortunately the clouds disappeared as the barbecues were lit and we had a fantastic night on the beach - there was more than enough food & plenty of drink for everyone! We also had a game of rounders (boys v. girls), which was a novel idea considering the sun had set and we couldn't see the ball, but we had a laugh nonetheless (even if the girls did cheat!)
To end the evening we sat on the sand and watched the fireworks display taking place across the bay in Bournemouth. There wasn't a cloud in the sky and I think everyone who went had a brilliant time.

One for the road...
Here's a great game called "Home Run" written in Macromedia Flash - it's in German, but it's easy to play... click here to play!
You've got to get the bloke as far down the road as you can by moving your mouse left and right - sounds easy, but the more he drinks, the harder it gets! I've managed to get him 66 metres so far - enjoy the game!!!
