May Day Run Out
Monday 5th May
Ace Café Battle of Hastings Run
Meet at 08:00 outside "Bikestop"
We will again be riding down to this picturesque seaside resort to join with the thousands of motorcyclists from the Ace cafe Run, and many others.
The route will unfortunately take in the dreadful M25, although I do know a cross country route to cut out some of it, we will then take the delightful A21 south across the Downs to Hastings.
The only reasonable place to stop is the M25 services at Dartford, which we will be doing.
Meet at 08:00, yes I know its early but it is a long way, and like all the Ace cafe events me must get there early or face chaos and confusion when riding through the towns and villages and distress when trying to park.
Please note that the Dartford toll crossing is free for motorcycles; however you MUST go to an attended toll booth, not the automatic ones, to be allowed through, and they like you to pass under the barriers singly.
Do not attempt to follow another bike through the barrier as it can drop quite sharply and you may impact with the barrier arm, don't laugh it happened to one of our group a few years ago.

The first major ride out of the year didn't go as planned, the weather meant that the six optimistic souls who ventured off soon turned back.
Lets hope for a better day for our next bank holiday run ( see Below )

Great Yarmouth
A cross country route took in some nice roads and scenery on the way to this lively east coast resort. With the customary cafe stop on the way and on the homeward leg
15 bikes started off in the morning with numbers falling steadily during the day as club members and visitors alike either went home early or got split from the main group.

For the second year running this event did not take place due to the inclement weather, perhaps the club is destined not to get to Hastings again?

Southend Monday 9th April 2007
This first big run of the year was a great success, 19 bikes braved the early start and even more members met up with us at Southend, the weather was excellent and the atmosphere terrific.
Some Brave members went on the new big dipper here are the photos:
