The Reception was held at the Omni Nederland Plaza on West 5th Street in the heart of Downtown Cincinnati. It must have cost a small fortune. Cocktails and Canopies were at 5pm followed by the Reception at 6pm. Starters were Strawberries, followed by a walnut and blue cheese salad. The main course was fillet steak and the sweet course was the wedding cake which was a carrot cake. There was a disco until 11pm.

* Push pins on the map showed the places from where people had travelled to the wedding - our pin is in the top right hand corner with an arrow pointing east!!
** Ron Griffith was the person responsible for getting me over to the States in 1981 to referee in the Dallas Cup - an International Soccer Tournament which still takes place annually at Easter. Sadly, Ron no longer has any involvement - more's the pity!
We left just after 11pm. It had been a long day!
