Monday 24th September Ned Abernathy took us back to Dallas/Fort Worth airport to collect a hire car for the next leg of our trip. First stop was to visit Brian and Angel in Frisco. En-route we stopped of at Frisco Fields Mall, an extensive, new shopping centre.

We arrived at Brian and Angel's mid afternoon and spent the rest of the day catching up on old times and hearing their plans for the wedding, honeymoon and their future.
The following morning we spent reading out on their decking before heading off to Garland to stay a couple of nights with Brian's father and step-mum. On our way we stopped off to visit and old friend, Jan Gifford in Dallas. Jan is a 'character' and we spent the afternoon drinking tea and chatting about old times and our families.

Early evening it was on to Jerry and Lou Croston's. Again it was good to see them. We had a good meal together and conversation before turning in for the night.
At Old City Park, Dallas
On Wednesday Jerry took us to the Dallas Arboretum and Old City Park just south of the Downtown area. We had been to both before but not for a number of years.
Thursday morning we were up early to get to the airport to catch the 10.45am flight to Cincinnati.
