Jayne was christened 'Rachel Jayne' and her mother and I decided on 'Jayne' as her 'known' name. However, at school she preferred Rachel and that is the name by which she is known to all but her family on the Fuller side who still call her 'Jayne' and always probably will.
Jayne was educated at Liversedge Secondary School where she was Head Girl in he final year. She continued her studies at Dewsbury & Batley Technical College before going on to St martins College at Lancaster University where she gained her BA(Hons) with Qualified Teacher Status. She taught at West Ham Church School in London's East End for three years before moving back to West Yorkshire to prepare for her marriage to Matthew. He main interests are cross stitch and gardening.
Matthew's family hail from Watford but have been in Dewsbury for many years. He went to Birkdale High School and then gained his BSc(Hons) in chemistry at Leeds University. He now works for A H Marks of Wyke, Bradford as a Quality Control Chemical Analyst. His main pursuit is playing and watching football.
Jayne and Matthew married on 24th July 1998. They are both committed Christians and are actively involved at Dewsbury Evangelical Church where Matthew's father is Pastor.
Their daughter, Bethany Jayne was born on 31st August 2000 - our third grandchild (the first girl) and a MILLENNIUM baby!
Their second child, Lorna May was born on 24th May 2002. Now we have 2 granddaughter and 2 grandsons!!
