Learjet 45 Clock V1.00 for FSX & FS2004

Version 1.00 of my Learjet 45 Clock Program includes the following features:-

  • Connects to simulator via FSUIPC / WideFS ( Tested with FSUIPC V4.40 & WideClient V6.78 ).
  • Works with FSX and FS2004.
  • Realistic display, based on the Davtron M850.
  • Resizable.
  • Instrument can be rotated for use on vertical monitors.
  • Adjustable border size.
  • Option to smooth graphics ( looks better when instrument is sized very small ).
  • 'Find Instrument' feature, repositions instrument at screen coordinates 0,0.
  • Remembers the position and size on the screen.
  • Works with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
  • Source code included ( To compile the program from source see the tutorial below which explains how to set up the programming environment ).
  • Optimised code to reduce network traffic and CPU load.
  • Displays GMT and Local Time.
  • Displays Flight Time. Starts and stops automatically. Resets at the start of each flight
  • Flight Time can be zero'ed at any time.
  • Elapsed time Start, Reset.
  • Controllable via FSUIPC.

    Note: Offset 73EA resets back to zero after action is carried out


Standby Airspeed Indicator V1.03 for FSX & FS2004

  • Realistic display, based on actual Learjet 45 Standby ADI.
  • Bare Mode - Option not to display the bezel or shadows. This is to allow users to use it behind an existing bezel.
  • Resizable.
  • Instrument can be rotated for use on vertical monitors.
  • Adjustable border size.
  • Option to smooth graphics ( looks better when instrument is sized very small ).
  • Find Instrument' feature, repositions instrument at screen coordinates 0,0.
  • Remembers the position and size on the screen.
  • Works with Windows XP & Vista.

  • Due to limitations with the variables for the Standby Altimeter Calibration Knob, Calibration adjustment values are taken from the main PFD Altimeter Calibration Knob. This has the advantage that the PFD Altimeter calibration and the Standby Altimeter Calibration can be adjusted from a single control.
  • Detects Power On when using APU simulation with my RMU / K8055 Interface program in FS2004.
  • Pressure calibration can be adjusted external to FlightSim either by using my StandbyCal program or by getting your interface control programs the write values to the relevent FSUIPC offsets. ( see program instructions for more details ).

  • Changes in this version are to fix graphics issues reported when using certain setups.

Version 2.08 of my Learjet 45 Radio Management Units & K8055 Interface Control Program includes the following features:-

  • Connects to simulator via FSUIPC / WideFS ( Tested with FSUIPC V4.40 & WideClient V6.78 ).

  • Supports up to 4 Velleman interfaces to give lots of useful inputs and outputs for your Main Instrument Panel and Throttle Quadrant.
  • RMU features can be controlled from keyboard. ( K8055 features only enabled if K8055's are Detected )
  • Can be used with a single Velleman K8055 interface if only non PC keyboard control of RMU features are required.
  • RMU Display goes blank when there is no power i.e. Gen1 & 2 off, Main Batt off & APU off.

  • Improved window initialization to fix a problem that caused parts of the window to be missing on some graphics cards.
Adding 4x Velleman K8055 Interfaces gives you the following features:-
  • Control of the RMU (Increase / Decrease value, Swap Frequencies, Toggle Field to Edit) without having to use a PC keyboard.
  • Analogue inputs with multipoint calibration for Throttles, Spoilers, Flaps, Rudder, Brake, Ailerons & Elevator.
  • Reverse thrust only selectable if WHEELS ON GROUND.
  • Spoilers work correctly i.e. variable in flight and either full off or full on when on the ground.
  • Analogue control of throttles is disabled if Speed Hold is selected.
  • Dead band around centred rudder position to prevent it wandering all over the runway.
  • Gear status for all 3 gears to indicate if UP, Down or Traversing.
  • Inputs for the following buttons: FD1, HDG, NAV, APP, AP, YD, SPD, ALT, Decrease/Increase Heading, Decrease/Increase Altitude Hold, Decrease/Increase Speed Hold, Decrease/Increase Vertical Speed Hold, Decrease/Increase Course, Decrease/Increase Altitude Cal.
  • Warn / Caution indication that can also be silenced. Outputs for driving external warning sounds ( Gear, Overspeed & Stall Warning ).
  • Warning / Caution indications are as per the Learjet 45 Manual rather than FSX. ( all can be silenced though as I prefer it that way ).
  • Voltage outputs proportional to throttle position for those who want to motorise their throttles for when Autopilot is set.
  • Engine 1 and 2 Autostart with selectable manual override.
  • Outputs to drive the following button illuminations: Gen1, Gen2, Main Batt, Left & Right Fuel Pumps, Cross Feed, APU Fire, Anti Ice, Left & Right Starters, Left and Right Ignition, Left and Right Engine Fire, Pitot Heat, Avionics Master.
  • Output to indicate if there is power to the MIP ( Can be used to drive a relay to chop power to your MIP Displays etc) .
  • Analogue output proportional to APU speed. Can be used to drive an LED display to indicate APU speed. (The APU speed display in FSX is incorrect ).
  • APU Simulation when using FS2004. ADI, Altimeter, CWP react to power on/off when using this APU feature.

Config File Change Lister for FSX SP2

Version 1.00 of my Config File Change Lister for FSX SP2

  • This program will display the settings that differ from the default FSX.CFG file settings. This allows you to easily see what you have tweaked.
  • To use the program just run the fsxccl.exe file. You can run it from anywhere i.e. it dosen't have to be in the same directory as you FSX.CFG file.
  • When run, the results will be displayed in your default text editor ( usually notepad ).

  • Note: This will only give accurate results on systems that have FSX SP2 installed.
