The facilities of the house will suit organisations or churches looking for a secluded location and a creative environment in which to work.

The library/meeting room, fitted with oak bookcases, inlaid wood tables and high back leather chairs, seats 16-20 in boardroom style. Adjoining this is a beautifully furnished lounge with sofas and chairs for a similar number, ideal for break out space.

The meeting room also opens onto a 36ft entrance hall, with informal seating around a central fireplace, where drinks and refreshments are served throughout the day. The whole of the downstairs is wheelchair accessible.

In addition, there is a stunning upper room with beams to full height seating 20-25, with adjoining ladies and gents bathrooms. Equipment available includes flip chart, OHP, TV / Video / DVD.

We cater for light meals or more formal lunches and dinners.

The retreat welcomes guests for overnight stays; the bedrooms are furnished to a high standard and our home cooking aims to use local produce wherever possible. We currently offer three double/twin/single rooms, and separate accommodation in Mill Cottage which has it’s own lounge with log burning stove, fully fitted kitchen, two twin rooms with en-suite showers and patio garden.

The property is set around a courtyard of barns which when developed will offer a further eight twin rooms en-suite and a larger conference hall with its own refectory. This phased development will offer a great deal but already provides a venue of some quality, with the hospitality you’d expect of a Christian retreat house.
