This is my version of the ancient Chinese game of Shanghai. The game play is just the same as other versions except that mine has more.
In fact it has lots more as not only does it come with enhanced high resolution graphics but this version also has 17 different tile formation designs to choose from. One or two are easy, most are difficult but all are challenging and addictive.
There is also the choice of 4 different tile sets and if you want you can design your own and use those.
New in version 1.06:
(n.b. the only change from v1.05 is a small bugfix for the statistics window which sometimes caused a crash)
- The most important change is the ability to save and load games. This gives the player the option of playing the same game again from the beginning or from the point where the game was saved. It also allows games to be given to other people to try.
- Two new game layouts have added: Battlefield and Sticks, both are moderatley difficult but Arena remains the most fiendish design.
- A new tileset - 'Medieval' revived from my original game called Mah Jongg, by popular request (from my wife!).
- Many changes 'under the bonnet' and other cosmetic changes.
