Weekend 19th and 20th April 2008

 

What a weekend. After a gruelling tour of Leicestershire with the “Blue Knights” and Christian

Police Association, the members of the CMA put on a wonderful fund raising evening at

Leicestershire Police HQ, raising £180 for charity and towards more “Biker Bibles”

On Sunday we met at Langmoor School, Oadby for a joint service with The

Lighthouse Church and the Christian Motorcycle Association.

What a fantastic service. Richard led the service with Fran and their brilliant music group lead

ing worship with a great mixture of traditional and contemporary music.

Mike Fitton, the President of CMA gave an illustrated talk about the history and mission of

CMA followed by Pete “Sofa” who shared a powerful testimony.

Jan also shared powerfully about her miracle and being a “More than” church and Phil

preached on Faith in Action.

We had a fantastic time and were made to feel really at home with our friends from the Light

house.
