The Rev'd David M Walton was inducted as minister of the joint pastorate of Greenock East and Port Glasgow United Reformed Churches in February, 2008. He was previously minister in Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne.
David was ordained in 2002 after training through the North East Oecumnical Course. Prior to ordination he was the accounts and finance manager at Northern Training Trust, a charity involved in vocational training in the North East of England. He enjoys walking with his dog, Paddy, particularly on the hills overlooking Greenock and Port Glasgow not least for their spectacular views across the River Clyde. David is also fan of Radio 4’s “The Archers”
