It’s new and it’s full of fun. Why not incorporate a mini arts and crafts session? You could watch your darlings make their own rocket and launch it at the end of the party? Or how about painting rockets or space ships onto pebbles? The children could even make a rocket ship and fly to the moon during one of their party games.

SANDRA will prepare for lift off at the beginning of your event by making rocket balloons, martian hats, creepy crawly spiders and fairy wings for the ones who didn’t catch their rocket in time!

All party games will focus on aged related space and rocket games e.g. balloon lift off, balloon between the knees rocket race, rocket corners and many, many more. Depending on the age range there will even be “Pin the fire flames on the rocket tail”.

SANDRA will also read a short excerpt from a special story adapted by Tony Frais the Author of two recent educational books. The second of Tony’s books is entitled “Stanley’s space adventure” which is aimed at key stages 1 and 2. A brief outline of the curriculum activities are highlighted below;

  • Living in a diverse world. Pupils should be able to begin to recognise and respect the similarities and differences between people in different places.
  • How do we deal with conflict? Pupils should be able to define conflict, identify different kinds of conflict and why they arise and understand how conflict begins and how it affects individuals and communities.
  • The strength of a spider’s web and interesting web facts
    Suggestions for activities regarding your five a day portions of fruit and vegetables.

NB: You can purchase one or both of Tony’s books from SANDRA at a reduced price. Your copy will also be signed by the author who would be happy to provide you with additional copies for you to give as a take home gift at the end of your event. www.noahsrocket.com
