Those that attend this year’s Christmas Draw had a good evening as members enjoyed themselves over a couple of pints and a pile of mince pies.  The banter and the laughs were enjoyed by all and it was nice to see new and familiar faces all having a good time.
	As always we had a fantastic array of different prizes on offer with a Samsung DVD and VHS recorder going to the winner.  Other prizes included hampers of different descriptions, a wide selection of Christmas goodies and a host of seasonal treats.
Last years draw set a new club record raising £586.00, this year we did even better by collecting £600.00 which is a great achievement and our thanks go to all those that supported the event.   The Society would also like to thank Roger Beeching the Mayor of Sawbridgeworth for attending and pulling the winning ticket on the evening.
