Avian Flu
With the news about avian flu, we felt members should be aware of what actions to take if you find any dead wildfowl or birds in the local area.

On sight of any dead wildfowl or birds please contact the Defra Helpline (08459 33 55 77). Currently the Helpline is available between the following hours Monday - Friday 6.00am to 10.00pm and Saturday - Sunday 6.00am to 10.00pm.

If any dead wildfowl or birds are found within society's waters, please inform a club official, immediately after contacting DEFRA.
