Mother, Mrs Hallows and auntie Betty (mother's sister) on a spring day outing in 1950.  Other family outings during the early fifties were to auntie Betty's house in Pickmere, where we'd spend the weekend shacked up in an old gypsy caravan on a field at the back of auntie Betty's house.
