Session recording
With our expertise in location recording, we can come to a venue of your choice and run a recording session from there. This may be a place you play regularly, providing a sense of comfort in a situation that can be stressful. We also have links with venues in the Manchester area which you can book to record in.
In your session recording, a number of takes will be recorded. These takes can then be edited, splitting or combining them as required. Fine detail editing is easily achieved.
The charge for recording sessions is £30 an hour, including any time needed for editing. Reductions for students are available. A CD with basic printed labels will be provided after editing.
A surcharge maybe added for:
- more complex label design and/or case artwork and liner notes
- more complex multi-mic setups for larger ensembles
- extra copies
- more than reasonable distance to the venue (outside the Manchester area)
- a static video camera for a DVD production
