At last as near proof as I think we might get. This document is from 1733 and is a complaint that John Pollard and his wife Isabel (Ingham) had become a burden on the people of Wiswell by virtue of them being poor (No change there then) It goes on to say that they should be removed to Simonstone from where they came.
