Celebration
Cakes
Payment is cash on
collection.

Wedding Cakes
Final Payment is due one
calendar month before the event.

Booking Fees
Booking fees are
non-refundable and reserve a date.

Deposits
The agreed deposit must
have been received before work on an order will begin.

In
the event of cancellation:
a) any booking fee or deposit paid shall be non-refundable
b)
any final balance or other amount paid up-front in advance shall be forfeited (unless
waived by the Seller in their absolute discretion).
Notice
of cancellation must be given in writing.
A
returnable deposit is required for the hire of stands and base with knife in addition to
the hire charge.
The
stand and/or base & knife is your responsibility to return in good condition and
complete (the base shall be in its protective box) by the Tuesday following your event.
Non-return of the stand and/or base & knife by this time will forfeit your deposit,
unless by prior agreement. Extra charges may be levied should the late return require
replacement items to be procured. The name and contact details of the person who will be
returning the items will be left with the Seller.
The
flowers and bouquet on top of the cake are inedible, because although made of sugar they
do contain wires and ribbon. The piped designs and frilling on the cake are edible.
By prior agreement, the Customer may supply their own
cake(s), however, the Seller retains the right to refuse to use them if it is likely to
compromise the Seller’s high quality of work. No liability for the contents of the
Customer supplied cake will be accepted by the Seller. This also applies to commercially
prepared cakes.
The
Customer may supply their own fresh flowers, however, the Seller accepts no liability for
what is provided. All efforts will be made to advise your flower provider of the exact
requirements, when necessary.
The
Seller is not able to guarantee nut-free cakes as the cakes are prepared in a facility
where nuts are used. Every effort to minimise contamination will be made if required.
Where
other allergies are to be considered, the Seller will do all that she can to ensure
compliance with the Customer’s request, but the cakes are prepared in areas where
these products may exist and every effort will be made to minimise contamination.
To
meet with Environmental Health regulations chocolate cakes made using fresh cream should
only be left out of cold storage for a maximum of four hours before being eaten. The
Seller will accordingly deliver to the venue at a suitable time to allow this. The Seller
will accept no responsibility for any cakes which are not dealt with in this way.
All
efforts will be made to complete your order, however, the Seller reserves the right to
provide a cake of the same quality and similar value to complete the order. A refund may
be given, but no liability for loss will be accepted.
In
the event of the late return of a stand or base from another order, a replacement will be
provided as close to that expected.
Your
flowers can be kept for many years if you keep them out of direct sunlight to prevent them
fading, and away from moist atmospheres. If you would like me to obtain high quality
