People often ask me; "Lionel, how did you first
become interested in the unexplained?" It was at a Lords Taverners
Charity Tea in 1976 that I first met with the famous psychic and clairvoyant,
Betty Mentney. Betty told me that I was a wonderful person, whose
greatness would one day be appreciated by all Mankind. Touched by her
honesty, I've laboured long and hard for the cause. Which explains, along
with my problems which the Press have delighted in
wallowing in, why I have appeared so rarely on your screens
since that fateful day. Not from want of offers I can tell you!
