Synopsis
My work considers much
about ‘being’. I study stability,
disintegration and transcendence.
I examine levels of consciousness and observe instances such
as being on a certain wavelength, attuned to something in particular,
and having natural abilities and affinities. My paintings put my experiences
into a visual form whilst helping me to analyse and display such reaction
and consequences.
I most recently exhibited
at the Visual Arts Centre, London Borough of Havering for a solo show of
large-scale paintings in the water series, awarded as part of the Big
Arts Submission Havering (BASH), August 2010. Other exhibitions include the 17th century barn at Thames
Chase, Upminster, ‘The Hospital’ in Covent Garden, when I was
short-listed for the Nationwide Mercury Art Prize 2006 and the Degree
show at The Old Truman Brewery, London. I completed my BA (Hon's)
in Fine Art in 2007.
