INTRODUCTION This web site looks at the lives of my direct ancestors on the male line, in bold on the family tree. The search for information is incomplete but the detective work so far has yielded unexpected results! The period covered roughly spans the nineteenth century - from the wedding of Christopher Midgley and Mary Layton in 1798 to the wedding of my grandparents, Robert Midgley and Fanny Mook, in 1892. The family lived at Huttons Ambo, Acklam and Duggleby - close to Malton.
This is my first stab at a web site - I would welcome any corrections or suggestions for improvement.
