Mission

Desborough Business Club

Mission Statement

Formed in April 2001, part of Rothwell & Desborough Chamber of Trade, to specifically promote Desborough as an ideal place to live, work, shop and enjoy leisure.

To make sure the voice of the Desborough business community is listened to, and consulted with, by local and national Government. This is already happening through the Town Centre Partnership, and the re-formed KBMG giving us the opportunity to promote Desborough business in the Borough and regionally.

  • To act as a broker for business in the Town, and help you find the help you need from other professionals, Government Agencies or Local Authorities.
  • To provide a series of meetings each year, with relevant speakers, and a forum for businesses to network.
  • To build up a Trade Directory on the town web site, www.desborough-town.org, with a book version distributed later. This will help local people and businesses source the products and services they need from member businesses.
  • To ensure local business benefits from the opportunities provided to the town by SDA status, the Market Towns Initiative, and the building of the Bypass.
  • To make sure that we are available to any business, large or small, whether in manufacturing, service sector or retail, and to make sure that all your business views and concerns are heard.
  • With the involvement of all Desborough
