General
This pale yellow drink is best known as an ingredient of a Harvey Wallbanger (vodka, galliani and orange juice). It comes in a very distinctive tall and narrow bottle and is available in most bars and off-licenses.

Review of Galliano

It is a shame that this drink is usually taken only as part of a cocktail by most people. This is an interesting drink on its own with a very distinctive taste. It is a sweet and almost syrup-like drink and I can only describe the flavour as reminiscent of the 1970's sweets Olde English Flavoured Spangles (that's dated me then !). Sorry if you don't know what I'm talking about - but that's what this stuff tastes like...

The only thing that remains to be said about the drink is to try it. It IS sweet and a bit sickly if too much is taken but it is an extremely pleasant and interesting drink to sip straight or with ice.

I recommend you try this one.
