David Inman BSc(Hons) FRICS AIEMA PCQI TechIOA
David Inman is director and Chartered Environmental Surveyor and Chartered Environmentalist at DIEM Ltd, based in Formby, Merseyside.
He has been involved in environmental management of property, construction and business throughout his career. David has over 15 years experience in advising on environmental matters, having worked for Carillion Rail, AMEC Spie Rail and the Stobart Group in construction, environmental and property management roles, before entering private practice in 2005.
David has extensive experience in the design and audit of environmental management systems to the ISO 14001:2004 standard to private and public sector clients and is a registered IEMA Lead EMS auditor. He is a lead quality auditor and energy management systems auditor, so supports clients by implementing and auditing quality systems to the ISO 9001:2008 standard and energy management systems to the ISO 50001:2011 standard.
He holds the Certificate for Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector and is a visiting lecturer at The University of Central Lancashire on the Quantity Surveying degree programme. He is a corresponding member of RICS Sustainability Taskforce Europe, a member of RICS North West Regional Board and has previously sat on RICS UK Education Standards Board.
