David Inman of DIEM Ltd this month was in the studio of BBC Radio Manchester's Breakfast with Beswick show to discuss the RICS NW Awards. The awards, this year again presented by BBC Breakfast's Bill Turnbull, were discussed the the studio in preparation for the event on 12 May in Manchester.

December 2010 - David Inman becomes Carbon Action Standard consultant
The Carbon Action standard was developed to encourage organisations to measure their Carbon Footprint and develop an action plan to reduce the energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
The Standard is a flexible and easy to use framework that helps organisations to take steps in reducing their carbon footprint.
The Carbon Action Standard Plus is approved by The Environment Agency as acceptable to demonstrate ‘Early Action Metrics’ for the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme (formerly known as the Carbon Reduction Scheme).

August 2010 - David Inman of DIEM Ltd appointed to RICS UK Education Standards Board
David Inman has been elected to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors UK Education Standards Board. The Board sits 3 times a year at RICS HQ in Parliament Square, London and provides guidance and development of RICS degree courses and APC/ATC/AssocRICS qualifications.
