Here's a chance to do a bit of good and help the folks out there to actually hear a proper band of great musicians playing creative music (and who can blow anyone into the weeds live). They are asking us to buy their new single between Monday March 19th and Saturday 24th March – either as a download or a physical CD from an established retail outlet. If we all do this together, then they have a real chance of having an actual top 40 single. They have shot a video of the song, which will also be on the physical CD. You can view the full video at their special Speechless mini-site here. All details can be found on the mini-site but you can order the CD single from Townsend Records (and it will contribute towards their chart position even on pre-order). Give it a go and see prog back in the charts! Good Luck Allan, Chris, Christina, Daniel, Martin and Rob - top band! (Just please don't turn into Marillion!) |
| Welcome to my
Website.
I've been listening to progressive rock music (and most other stuff) since the mid 1970s. In 1982 I decided I wanted to make my own music and taught myself how to play the guitar and keyboards. If you like progressive rock music with plenty of Moog, mellotron, bass pedals, guitar / keyboard solos in the style of Steve Hackett / Rick Wakeman / Tony Banks and music influenced by IQ, Yes, Genesis, Rush etc, then you need to buy this album! "The Blue Mist" is my sixth CD and I've been told it is the best thing I've ever done. Reviews:
"Lost for words - so impressed!" - A Mate (I know she's biased but she likes rave type dance music so it's a bit of a result if she likes my stuff!) If you are interested, please see my discography page where you can download sample MP3 files and discover where to send the £5 to order a copy! If you want a brief preview of "The Blue Mist", right click on the download link below and choose "Save Target As..." to get a (reduced quality MP3!) compilation of some of the tracks. See my Music Page for more information. I'm currently working on a re-recording of "Chasing The Suicide" for the 20 year anniversary and a new prog album where I may even play bass and have a singer (but a drummer is still out of the question as, so far, I haven't found one that can play at anything other than 120 bpm and 7/8 is right out of t'window!) |
