10 (Kent) Cadet Regiment

Headquarters Staff

Colonel Charles Philpin
Honorary Colonel
10 (Kent) Cadet Regiment

Col Philpin served two terms as OC 10 Regiment. Acknowledged as one of the the most popular OC's of the last twenty five years, we are glad he accepted the role of our Honorary Colonel. A career ACF Officer he worked his way up fomr cadet to Colonel and Commandant of Kent ACF. Great sense of integrity and honour. No-nonsense, loyal, hard working and capable.

Lieutenant Tom Winzar
Staff
Officer
10 Regiment

Lt Winzar has plenty of command experience which puts him in good stead in knowing the ways round the paperwork and administration needed to keep the Regiment functioning. A grafter with great management skills, he is the calm head in the office. A good communicator, reliable and enthusiastic, Lt Winzar is the right man in the right job

BSM Vince Proto
Senior Sergeant Major
10 Regiment

BSM Proto is as much home in DPM as he is Goretex with rucksack and rope. He is an extremely experienced and highly qualified Adventurous Training instructor with several international expeditions under his belt. Closer to home, BSM Proto represents the Regiment at the monthly Warrant Officers meetings. Genuinely funny, permanently cheerful, well liked and great to have around.

Major Peter Thomas
Officer Commanding
10 Regiment

Major Thomas is one of the hardest working Officers we have. No-one puts in more hours. He has an excellent sense of humour and enjoys the company of his colleagues. Tireless in making sure that the cadets in 10 Regiment get the best. Ex-army from the Small Arms School Corps, he is very capable instructor. Completely loyal, honest, great fun and an excellent ACF Officer.

CSM Dave Hart
Training
Officer
10 Regiment

CSM Hart has plenty of experience in managing the maze of applications, bids, facilities and forms that are necessary to get the Regiment away on training events. Although even tempered and (mostly!) relaxed about the ACF, he has a mischievous sense of fun, usually at the expense of his colleagues.

Mr Eddie Booth
Quartermaster

10 Regiment

Mr Booth has been involved with 10 Regiment for many years. He has responsibility for managing the Regiment's stores and equipment. Very sensible, solid and stable, but keeps an iron hand over the condition of stores returned. As many have found out!
