Combat is a multi activity competition.

So what is combat all about?

A team is made up of 8 cadets from the same unit. A unit can send as many teams as they can get together.

It is held at least once a year, sometimes twice.

The activities vary from event to event and location, but there is usually a fitness run, five a side football, tug of war, initiative tests, command tasks and shooting. There are sometimes other tests in the past. We have had stretcher runs, first aid assessments, rock climbing tests, sniper stalks, camouflage and concealment.

It is taken rather seriously at times!
