Historically, the recruiting catchment area of 10 Regiment covers the area of North West Kent that came under the control of the London Boroughs of Bromley and Bexley in 1968.

The area from the banks of the Thames at Dartford and Thamesmead out to the M25 and south to the A20 is referred to as the A Company recruiting area.

From the A20 south and westwards to Biggin Hill and the Kent/Surrey border is referred to as the B Company recruiting area.

Inside the arc is the recruiting areas of 7 Group and 9 Regiment.
