104 (Hayes) Platoon
Irish Guards

104 (Hayes) Platoon is the most rural in B Company. They are situated near Hayes Common. The facilities at Hayes are largely self built and include a climbing wall, small air rifle range and large wooded area for fieldcraft training. They parade on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 19:30 to 21:30.

104 is badged to the Irish Guards. This is one of the Regiments of Foot Guards that produce such an impressive display at Trooping the Colour. The Irish Guards have just returned from their tour of Germany and can give them the level of support that they need.

The recruiting area is very large and extends out to the Kent borders. 104 is now able to accept female recruits. Although quite a strong detachment at present, they will be pleased to speak to any 13 - 15 year old young men and women from Hayes, West Wickham, Spring Park, Keston, Eden Park, Bromley Common, Farnborough and Biggin Hill areas.
