101 (Penge) Platoon
Princess of Wales Royal Regiment

101 (Penge) Platoon is the nearest detachment to London. They have good facilities kept in superb condition by the cadets. A small air rifle range has recently been constructed. Like all of our units, It is a mixed detachment able to take young men and women. They parade on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 19:30 to 21:30.

It is badged to the Princess of Wales Royal Regiment. 101 gets a lot of help and support from the Regular and Territorial Army. The main reason is that both the First and Second Battalions are based in Britain at present. The PWRR is a fairly young regiment and was formed when the Queens Regiment and the Hampshires were amalgamated.

Currently, 101 is slightly under strength and is building. They recruit mainly from Penge, Anerley, Beckenham, Sydenham, Crystal Palace and Norwood. They are open for new recruits and should you wish to contact them
