The following images are extracts from my slide lecture "Landscapes My Way".
The objective of the lecture is to illustrate my interpretation of landscape photography, yet at the same time stimulate memories and encourage members of Camera Clubs/Photographic Societies to try and put talks of their own work together. The opening sequence is a collection of images from in the Lake District that have primarily been taken to bring back memories of holidays. Langdale is always a favourite haunt, whatever the season.

Initially my interest in photography started through Fell walking, my objective was to take photographs along the walk to show family and friends the terrain, views etc. The next sequence are some of the images illustrating a walk fromRosthwaite to Keswick, via Watendlath.

Whenever taking landscape photographs I have always looked for patterns or strong subjects. Using dry stone walls or hedges to lead your eye to a farm or tree has long attracted me as illustrated by some of the following images.

Hopefully these few images have given you an insight into my interpretation of landscapes. Light, composition and a subject matter helps improve any picture.
