1. Default Painter IX Round Camelhair variant (not included in the Camel Oils download).
2. Sandmans Camel 20 variant.
3. High Bleed 20 variant.
4. Default Painter IX impasto Thick Wet Camel 20 variant (not included in the Camel Oils download).
5. Impasto i Sandmans Camel 20 variant.
6. Impasto i High Bleed 20, 12 and 7.5 variants.
Generally speaking, I'm not in favour of including the same variant in several different sizes within my brush libraries. In this case however, the feature settings have also been changed to match brush size with hair spacing.
Camel Oils Custom Brushes Demo
The image below demonstrates two Painter IX default variants, namely Oils>Round Camelhair and Oils>Thick Wet Camel 20 (far left) and four variants from my custom Camel Oils library available from here.
Whist the default variants are ok, in the case of the default Round Camelhair, I wanted to create a more closed brush with a smoother look. For the default impasto Thick Wet Camel 20 variant, something less harsh, but showing just a hint of the impasto effect was desired.
