Drawn Triples played on 27th July 2009

This years Drawn Triples was played on Saturday 27th June, and the weather was kind to us again.... All matches were played in a friendly and competitive spirit, without the umpire being called. We had 12 members taking part giving us 4 Teams, playing 3 games of 8 ends.

Our new member Joanne Ashley gave us all a laugh at the beginning of the match, and a lot thought she played a great game.

Our thanks to to Roy Maud for organising and running the event, which was run very smoothly and efficiently.

Our thanks also go to Margaret Gaymer for running around the green taking the photographs... well done Margaret.

Another great internal competition.... Good bowling..... Great humour.... enjoyed by all members who took part..... the members who did not join in really missed a great afternoons bowling, and the chat at the end over tea, coffee and a fruit punch... plus sandwiches and delicious cakes.... come on we need more members to take part in our internal competitions.
