As Chairman of the Bottesford Short Mat Bowls Club I would like to welcome you to our website, which is now in it's third year. Over the years we have added many photographs of the winners of our internal competitions and presentation evenings. I hope you will enjoy browsing through the many pages of this website. We are always please to welcome new members, so if you would like to try your hand at short mat bowling, please contact me, or just turn up on a Sunday Morning at 10.00am for our practice session, or at 7.00pm on Sunday for our bowls drive. Short Mat Bowls provides entertainment and a challenge whatever level you play. It has also a high standard of etiquette and sportsmanship. Whether you are having a friendly roll up, a club competition or a match, it is a very rewarding pastime, from September to April. Our 2009/10 season started on Sunday 6th September 2009. |
