A new company has been awarded a short term lease to operate the railway until April 2007.
The North Bay Railway Company Ltd, a sister company to the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway, will operate trains every weekend during this period. This is the first time in its 75 year history that trains will have run during the winter time.
Two further locomotives (on left of photo) have been brought to
Scarborough by the new operators.
"Poseidon" is identical to the Scarborough locos also having been
built by Hudswell Clarke.
It is seen here being cleaned by Michael the CCLRs expert painter

The second "new" loco is also a Hudswell Clarke product named "Robin

This tank locomotive has previously seen service in Leeds.
