Images of Firsby (Courtesy of Ian Jopson)

Scene of Firsby station from platform 2 looking north towards Grimsby. The station house
and booking office was on platform 1. All this has disappeared following the lines closure in 1970.

Platform 3 at Firsby was a loop used for the Skegness branch trains which started
from Firsby. Again looking north.

The interior of Firsby station now looking southwards. Platform 1 was bi-directional
and used for the Spilsby branch trains. The magnificent GNR overall roof
survived to the end.

Typical GNR somersault starting signals at the south end of platform 3.
Top arm is for Skegness branch, bottom arm for main line south.
