In
1999 I went on Holiday to Crete with a friend of mine. Whilst staying
at the hotel I met a group from Essex who were staying there. I learned
that they were called Havering, Handicapped and Helpers or 3H for short.
We had a lot of fun at the hotel and I kept in touch after returning home.
Since then I have regularly travelled away with the group as a helper.
Here are some snaps of our trips away.

us on our last night so we presented him with a bottle of Jack Daniels which
we has sneakily discovered is is favorite drink. |

of times a year as there is plenty to do and we always have a good time. |

| Staying
a bit more local we took a trip to London's Covent Garden to watch the street
entertainers and shop in the market. |

| But
by far the best weekend of all is out annual trip to Mersea Island and it
looks like Eddie (Left) and Collin (Right) are enjoying it here too. |

| The
Mersea Island Festival is held each Summer Bank Holiday. The Ladies sleep
in huts with bunks and the Men in tents around the huts. If the weather
is nice is a very pleasant place with the sea at the edge of the field. |
|
| Activities
include speed boating, aerial ropeway, archery and various crafts as well
as lively discos and live entertainment in the bar during the evening |
|
| All
activities are operated by qualified instructors. |
|
| As
there are groups from all over the UK a football match is played on the
Saturday afternon. Here are three of our group and a lad from another group. |
