FOOL FOR LOVE

by Millstream Theatre Co. Opened 1988 in Guildford, a touring production.
Cast included: Derek Hoxby, Tim Earle, Patrick
Waldron. A simply staged, small budget production
with an exceptionally strong cast. The role of MAY was ideally suited
for Diana. She brought a special quality to this strange, intense love

THE TRAVELLER by Jean Claude
Van Itallie.
Directed by Keith Boak. Produced by Leicester Haymarket Theatre. Transferred
to Almeida Theatre. Opened September 30th 1986. Cast included: David
Threlfall, Morag Hood. Based on the writer/producer Joseph Chaikin, THE
TRAVELLER is about a man who undergoes a life-changing experience when
he suffers a stroke. Diana played the role of his psychiatrist, TINA SULLIVAN.
CRYSTAL CLEAR by Phil Young
Directed by Ian McKeand. Produced by Great Eastern Stage. Opened Lincoln,
1983. Cast included: Nic D'Avirro, Terry Diab. Phil Young's award
winning devised play about blindness. Diana played the part of JANE, the
girlfriend of a man who goes blind.
MADAME DE SADE by Yukio
Mishima.
Directed by Tal Rubin. Opened 1991 at the Almeida Theatre, London.
Costumes designed by Katherine Hammnet. Cast included: Miriam Cyr.
Mishima's strange poetic piece applies japanese sensibility to western
themes. Diana played MADAME DE SADE in a beautifully designed production.
PANORAMA by Pieter Dirk
Uys.
Directed by Penny Cherns. Produced by Kings Head
Theatre Club. Opened June 14th 1987. Cast
included: Jemma Redgrave, Ken Sharrock, Natasha Williams. A play about
Robben Island and the whites guarding the political prisoners. Diana played
KARIN, a neurotic afrikaner.
THE STICK WIFE by Darrah
Cloud.
Directed by Nancy Diuguid. Produced by the Gate Theatre, Notting Hill.
Opened 1991. British premiere. Cast included:
Marty Cruikshank, John Gillett, Maxwell Hutcheon, Mary Ellen Ray, Tom
Hodgkins. A play about the neuroses affecting
a group of women in the deep south whose husbands are involved in the
Klu Klux Klan. Diana played MARGUERITE, the wife of a klansman.
BITTER MILK by David Clough
& Alton Kumalo. Directed by Barry Phillips.
Produced by Temba Theatre Co. Opened 1983 Drill Hall, London. Cast
included: Alton Kumalo, Decima Francis. A contemporary play about exiled
South Africans. Diana played Sarah, a liberal white who agrees to an arranged
marriage with a black South African.
