                  Earlier this week I was contacted by a family member of one of the crew lost from Samtampa from Whitby as well as a Lady in Wales whose relative was one of the lifeboat crew lost. They have asked me to see if I could gain some interest for a service to be held next April in Wales to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the loss. It is all in the early stages at the moment, but I thought I would let you know to see if any members would be interested The Lady from Whitby is hoping to lay on a bus trip if she can get enough people interested.

 

Will keep you informed either way as soon as I find more detail.
