Steering rack, Heater
& heater pipes, brake pipes attached. Pedal box plate balanced just
for show. |
 |
I
couldn't resist to see what it will look like... |
 |
Back end all ready
for bolting on the big bits. |
 |
That engine frame is
a pain to store. |
 |
Wiper mechanism,
Heater box and fuse box ready. This is the last time the dash area will
look neat. |
 |
Ducting on, wiring
fed through and radiator in place. |
 |
Knit one, pearl
one.... |
 |
Told you!
Giant toilet roll to recover after having to drill through the
bodywork. |
 |
Door and bonnet
hinges on. Careful not to tighten the bonnet hinges too much as the
studs will shear off. |
 |
It's a bizarre
looking beast without bodywork. |
 |
Battery in and
everything is starting to tidy up nicely. |
 |
Just a couple of
wires that I'm not 100% sure about their use - oh, and I seem to have
lost my dim/dip unit. Marvellous. |
 |
Not happy about the
heater pipes on the radiator but everything else seems OK. |
 |
I think the
spare wheel fits. |
 |
Aerial and washer
bottle in place. |
 |
Radiator needs to be
moved very slightly as the spare wheel sits on the fan motor. |
 |
At last, I've found
somewhere to fit the speakers. |
 |
My first (and last)
attempt at an arty shot. |
 |
Interior going in. I
wish someone had said the composite roll cage is hollow. I had a heart
attack when I drilled the first hole - though I had drilled all the way
through. |
 |
Dash fits nice and
snug. |
 |
I seemed to have
spent a large amount of time bent double in that there footwell. |
 |
Drilling the holes
for the roof studs was a bit hit and miss. I've still yet to sort them
out properly. |
 |
'No More Nails' is
wonderful stuff. Shame it takes 24 hours to dry fully though. |
