Model Railways and other projects

One of the pleasures of model railways is their variety. Some people build the rural landscape of a Great Western branch line, others want to capture the  sweeping curves of a mainline.
 
 I like to build industrial railways, forgotten systems treated simply as 'plant' by their owners, doing rough and unglamorous work day in and day out.
 

That said, I was missing building and operating signals and my P4 stock was not getting a chance to run. So as part of a mid-life crisis I've started building a P4 empire too.
