Empire Basin

 
Going round and round is always fun! I worked out I could just about get a continuous run in Scalefour and started on my 'scalefour empire' in 2007. Progress has so far been reasonably good, though I've taken time out to operate Fen End Pit and am currently building another 16mm simplex.

The idea is to model an imaged site 'somewhere in East London' during the 1950's-60's.

The basic plan is for a simple double track main line with a trailing crossover into a goods loop. From this loop siding run to an goods warehouse and various industries. In addition a hidden wagon lift will lower trains down to an 'Enigma Engineering' style shunting puzzle.
