Boating on the Rhine from Basel to the Dutch Border, Strong currents, load of traffic, fantastic scenery, and amazing anchorages
Junction of the Moselle & Rhine seen from within the monument, down stream on the right is a good anchorage behind the island, only accessible from the up stream side

A great Anch at Bingen with the Mouse tower in the background, don't go too far down though as there is a rocky ledge near the river confluence
One of those totally unforgettable anchs, at Kaub, accessed from the downstream end.
