Gouda Moorings

I wont detail the delights of Gouda here, just the mooring potential.

For boats with a air height of about 3.5- 3.7 mtr the town can be accessed from any direction, including the Mallegat sluis, with a fixed bridge of 3.3 Mtr at MHWS, otherwise access for most British yachts will be via the Gouw canal and the Steve Biko bridge, for the moorings closest to the town centre.

There is a town quay by the Mallegat sluis, however it is frequented by Hotel boats & Barges, often there is room for yachts at the front or back.

The Moorings for the Gouda Rail Bridges do not lend them selves well to visit the town, for south bound there is no access, to the town ,& north bound a long walk

We most frequently use the overhanging quay by the Haastrechtse Brug, & Launch down to the town.
