Robin Hood

Home Up

This is a set of pictures of a car I used to own! Sadly my youthful quest for cash let me sell it! It was given to me by my previous employer in kit form and I built it myself in a single garage. I did all the chassis design and CNC programming for this car whilst I worked for Robin Hood Engineering, as well as being involved in the infamous RHE Sale Saturdays!!

The car in all its glory shortly after it was finished

Another shot, isn't it nice!

OK I think you get the picture!

The Fiat 126 seats expertly retrimmed by me in soft black leather......nice!

The business end, a 2.0l Ford Sierra engine (pinto) giving about 100BHP

The downdraght carb was replaced later with a pair of twin 40s

Thats it for now, but when I get the 'archive prints' from the loft I will show how much you can squeeze in to a Hood.........we went on holiday to France in it and brought back plenty of alcohol!!

Check out the 'Cool Clips' page for a hoody getting it wrong!
