Scottish Championships
12th November 2004
The club had a small entry this year but as
usual our students did extremely well.
Paul Fitzharris took gold in Kata & Kumite
in the mens "up to 4th kyu" events
Paul also took 4th place in the open Kata event.
This event is open to all grades including black belts!

20 years & Counting 1st August 2004 Gourock Karate Club held an enrolment night on Wednesday 1st August 1984. The first class was held on Saturday 4th August. There were 36 students training. The average attendance for the 1st 3 months was 31. The club instructors were David Gillies & Ian Pow. We are now entering our 21st year and the club still has a very healthy membership |

Graeme MacAulay - 2nd place - boys over 5 feet 5 inches Kumite
This is the first time anyone from the club has reached the finals of the Nationals.
Congratulations to Graeme on this outstanding achievement.
