A few requests for prayer support:

Requestor Prayer Request
Tony & Chris Somervell,

ASUNCION, Paraguay

Thanks...
- the Lord’s sustaining in 2002, a demanding year with new challenges, especially in our counselling ministry
- greater attendance at church with several new people integrating; for Gladys, Adriana, Sandra and Mirian confirmed in December (2 adults and 2 teenagers)
- César & Paola’s marriage strengthened after Marriage Encounter
- Feliciano and Rosa’s help and teamwork for Sunday services

Pray For...
- PARAGUAY, suffering the effects of the regional recession and ‘non-government’; listed poorest and most corrupt of South American countries, unemployment and violence increase
- the people we have been counselling: Raúl & Nancy, Enrique and Cinthia, Roger (now divorced), Ricardo (separated, but totally transformed after giving his life to the Lord)
- our holiday adventure by coach overland (and the Andes!) to Chile 10-30th January, to see the Somervell cousins
- the Sunday services in our absence, for the summer holidays’ ‘remnant’ to meet faithfully

Richard & Bianca Reeves,

Mozambique

Thanks...
- good send off and family time in UK
- help received re Myles' health
- language study time in Portugal
- computer funds
- help folk have given as we settle-in
- a home near work

Pray For...
- effective world and church response to southern Africa's famine
- preparations for - and move into - house
- our security in home, whilst we are travelling and on street
- work: Richard's colleagues in communications are Zita, Fredrico and Inacio; Bianca's colleagues are Pastor Marcos (Evangelism), Mamma Natalia (Girls Centre) and Senhora Gilda (Work with women).
- safe daytime care solution for Myles
