Cross and Bible

Would you like to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, but do not know what to do?

All it takes are a few simple but sincere steps by you to give your life to Jesus Christ. God sent His Son so that all may be saved* and know Him. That means you can come to know Jesus just as you are today. He is not looking at your clothes, your race, your job or your qualifications. All God is looking at is your heart.

You need first to follow these steps, the A B C road to salvation. Accept ... Believe ... Confess.

ACCEPT you were born a sinner ("Ps 51:5) .... "surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me."

..... "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God ...." Rom 3:23.

BELIEVE that Jesue died for you. Rom 6:23 ...."For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesue our Lord."

CONFESS your sins before God: "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Rom 10: 9-10 "For it is with your heart that you believe and you are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."

Decide to follow Jesus. Rom 12:1-2· "Therefore I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer up your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will."

If you believe in the above scriptures and have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of your life, then pray the following prayer, allow God to heal your broken heart and show you the kind of love that man cannot give. You will feel a sense of inner peace that only God can bring and despite your situation you will experience a joy that is beyond measure. Accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour will also give you hope, a hope that is founded on God's promises as found in the Bible. Many of the hopes and dreams we all experience never materialize because of the elements of chance and circumstance but because the hope God gives is backed by His inerrant word, it cannot fail.

SINNER'S PRAYER

Dear Lord
I realise that I am a sinner
I believe that You died on the cross for my sins
and You rose from the dead and are alive
Lord Jesus, I am sorry for the way I have lived my life
And confess to You all my sins
I ask You to forgive me and be the Lord of my life and take all my sins away
Please, Jesus, come into my life and be my Saviour
Cleanse me of my sins and send Your Holy Spirit to fill me and direct me
Lord, I want to be a new person, doing Your will and not my own
Thank you Lord for your love, your forgiveness
Your mercy and grace towards me
In Jesus' name, Amen

If you have said the above prayer in sincerity, you are saved and have become a new person in Christ - welcome to the family of God.

If you do not have a church to go to and would like advice or need someone to pray with you and explain things further, please do not hesitate to make contact with us, we will be only too pleased to help in any way we can.

It is imperative that you find a bible believing church (which preaches the whole truth) where you can make friends with people of like faith in Jesus Christ. They will nurture you in sound fundamental bible truths that will enable you to grow strong both in faith and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, which knowledge is vital for Jesus himself said in the gospel of John chapter 17 verse 3 ….."This is eternal life, that they (those who accept HIM as Lord and Saviour) may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent."

*For an easy to understand explanation of what being "SAVED" means please access our "Questions and Answers" page where it is dealt with in greater detail.
