About
Guerilla Embroidery is a young creative business, specialising in free machine embroidered textiles. Inspired by the patterns and colours seen in nature, each piece is developed organically and intuitively in fabric and thread. The designer, Sarah Terry, applies her ideas to handmade bags, purses, accessories, and customised clothes with each creation becoming an individual work of art.
Sarah Terry graduated in 206 with
a degree in Embroidery from the Manchester Metropolitan University. In 2004, she
was long listed for the Hand&Lock Hand embroidery prize. Her work can be seen in
collections all over the world, including the USA, Australia and Europe as well
as the Tate Britain. Guerilla Embroidery started in October 207 and debuted at
the Manchester Christmas Markets that year.
