RICHARD WALLWORK 1752 - 1820 ROPE MAKER - BADGER - SHOPKEEPER
Richard Wallwork was born about 1752 in Pendleton. He was the son of either Robert Wallwork born about 1700 of Broomhouse Lane or Richard Wallwork born about 1700 of Pendleton. It seems likely that Richard and Robert were brothers.
Richard born 1752 was a shopkeeper in Broomhouse Lane, Pendleton, which to day is called Eccles Old Road where Hope Hospital now stands. During the 1700's this road was one of very few roads in the area. Like today it ran to Manchester, it was surrounded by farmland and fields Broomhouse Lane during the 1700's was a small Hamlet.
Richard Wallwork married Elizabeth Hankinson on 26th December 1774 they had the following children
Richard died in 1820 leaving his estate to his wife Elizabeth Elizabeth also died in 1820

JAMES WALLWORK was born about 1793 in Pendleton he was married to who was born about 1797 in Worsley the marriage took place in 1815 at Eccles parish Church They had the following children
1826 - Cotton Weaver - Night Watch Man - General Labourer Chimney Sweep - Property Maintenance Repairer
Robert Wallwork was born 1826 in WORSLEY he was married to who was born 1827 in MANCHESTER the marriage took place in 1845 at Manchester Cathedral They had the following children
They lived at the following address's Chorley Road - Sutherland Street - Rutland Avenue Brackley Street - Back Mount Pleasant all in Swinton After the death of his wife Martha Wallwork in 1893 Robert Wallwork re-married Elizabeth Bold in 1894 They lived in Brackley Street, Swinton a few doors away from Robert's daughter Sarah Ellen Willshire.
HENRY WALLWORK 1863 - 1939
Henry Wallwork was born 1863 in BARTON UPON IRWELL (SWINTON) he was married to who was born 1866 in MACCLESFIELD The marriage took place in 1882 at St. Augustine's Pendlebury they had the following children
